How to generate the Universal Condition Report

The Universal Condition Report is consumer-facing and provides a transparent valuation of the Instant Offer being presented. The report is essential to reduce friction while building trust as you walk through the disclosures and offer with the seller. It uses real-time market data and detailed diagnostics to educate shoppers on the “why” behind their valuation, and you can send it directly to their device to make them more comfortable with it.

Assuming you completed the appraisal on a vehicle, you’re ready to sit down with the seller to go over the offer.

1 Open the vehicle appraisal

• From your dashboard, click the Appraisals tab.
• Find and click on the appraisal you want to generate a UCR for.

2 Choose how you want to use the report

Once inside the appraisal view, there are two ways to access the UCR — depending on whether you’re ready to share it with the customer or prefer to review it first.

Option A: Send the report directly to the customer

1. Click the Tools icon (top right of the appraisal view).
   
2. Select Share.
   
3. Choose your preferred method: send via text or email.
   

Option B: Review the report before sharing

1. Click the Tools icon again.
   
2. Select Universal Condition Report from the dropdown.
   
3. Review the report with the seller — it outlines all valuation factors and any condition-based deductions.
   
4. When ready, click Share (text or email), or Open PDF to download or print a copy for the customer.
