What vehicles are eligible to serve in Cars Social ads?
Cars Social helps your dealership reach in-market shoppers on Facebook and Instagram with dynamic, native-style ads. These ads are automatically matched to user interests and can link directly to your dealership website or lead forms.
To ensure your vehicles are eligible to appear in Cars Social ads, inventory must meet Meta’s merchandising requirements.
In this article, you’ll learn what makes a vehicle eligible for Cars Social ads, why complete listings matter, and how to get started.
Vehicle Eligibility Requirements
To be served in Cars Social ads on Facebook and Instagram, each vehicle listing must include the following:
- VIN
- Model
- Price
- Multiple photos (minimum of two)
- Mileage (required for used vehicles)
- Seller’s Notes
Note: Incomplete listings that do not meet these criteria will not be eligible to appear in ads.
Performance Best Practices
For best results:
- Maintain a minimum of 50 eligible vehicles in your inventory feed
- Ensure data accuracy across your feed to avoid disqualifications
- Update inventory regularly to include new vehicles with full details
